Renowned Nigerian actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande has denied claims of having an affair with Senate President Godswill.
A Reporer reported on Sunday that Dakore was listed among female celebrities allegedly involved with Akpabio as his ‘side chicks.’ On Monday, Dakore took to her official Instagram page to refute these allegations, asserting that she has never met Akpabio.
In a Monday post on her official Instagram page, the actress rejected the allegations, clarifying that she has never met Akpabio.
She said, “This morning, I saw text messages and calls about a malicious lie.
I am deeply disappointed, shocked, and appalled. I want to clearly state that I have never met the Senate president in my life.”
I’ve never had any reason to be in the same room with him, let alone be his side chick. I’m happily married with two wonderful children.
It’s completely false and malicious for a jobless, spiteful blogger to include my name among women who have been with this man. I’m prepared to take legal action because this attempt to damage my reputation is unacceptable.
I live a private life, focus on my work, and stay out of trouble. I won’t tolerate anyone trying to ruin my hard-earned reputation for clicks.
“I won’t accept this or stay silent about it. I want to make it clear: if anyone can provide video or audio evidence of me being with this man, I will give you #5 million immediately,” she stated.
