The Federal Government has announced free train rides for Nigerians traveling to celebrate the Christmas holidays.
Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, announced on Monday that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting had concluded with the decision to offer free train rides.
The service will start on December 20, 2024, and run until January 5, 2025.
Idris stated that Nigerians will be able to use the free train rides on all routes where train services are currently available.
