Tinubu Leaves Brazil, Heading to Abuja Following his Participation in the G20 Summit

President Bola Tinubu will depart Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, today for Abuja after participating in the 19th G20 Leaders Summit.

He is expected to arrive at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at 10:00 p.m. (Nigerian time).

During the summit, Tinubu supported the global alliance against hunger and poverty, emphasizing its importance.

The President also engaged in bilateral discussions with Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, who praised his administration’s economic reforms and their promising outcomes.

Additionally, he oversaw the signing of a $2.5 billion Letter of Intent between the Nigerian government and JBS S.A., a Brazilian firm and one of the world’s top three largest meat processing companies
