Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, revealed plans to mark his 32nd birthday with a donation of N300 million to orphanages.
In a post on his X account this morning, the singer announced that the funds would be distributed to orphanages and an organization dedicated to combating youth drug abuse.
He assured to share more information in subsequent posts.
The OBO crooner wrote, “Once again, for my birthday this year, we are donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. This year is N300m. Details to follow soon.”
This isn’t the first time Davido has celebrated his birthday by giving back to charity.
