Olamide is the king of Nigerian Street Music, Says Shallipopi

Singer Crown Uzama, widely known as Shallipopi, has proclaimed veteran rapper Olamide as the king of Nigerian street music.

In a recent interview with Naija FM, Shallipopi shared that he featured Olamide in his song “Order” due to Olamide’s strong popularity in the streets.

Olamide, also known as Baddo, is the father and king of Nigerian street music. I had to feature him on ‘Order’ because it’s a street song, and Olamide rules the streets,” he said.

During the interview, Shallipopi also confirmed that he has left Dapper Music, explaining that his departure came after his contract with the label expired.

He clarified that he left the label once his contract expired.

He also denied rumors of any conflict between him and his former label, stating that they remain on good terms.
