Ex-Big Brother Naija star, Josephine Otabor, known as Phyna, has weighed in on the debate surrounding DNA tests.
According to reporter, Nigerians have been split on the necessity of DNA tests following recent instances of paternity fraud.
Phyna, sharing her views on her X handle, expressed her support for music executive Don Jazzy’s recent statement that DNA tests should take precedence over naming ceremonies.
Phyna advocated for making DNA tests mandatory right after childbirth.
She stated, “I support DNA test over naming ceremony. It’s should be passed that it is compulsory. Immediately after birth, a DNA test should be carried out.”
