Uzoamaka Onuoha, with more than three nominations, was recognized for her performance in Agemo.

Directed by Moshood Abiola Obatula, the film tells the story of Agatha as she journeys through a perilous, enigmatic world, shedding light on the struggles faced by women.

This supernatural film delves into themes of manipulation, power dynamics, and the repercussions of exploiting the vulnerable.

Onuoha, who takes on the lead role, is a rapidly emerging actress with numerous projects to her name, including Inside Life (2022), If I Am President (2018), and Blood Sisters (2022).

Though the film unveiled its first-look images in December 2023, it is scheduled for public release this year.

Written by Esther Olayinka, the film stars Uzoamaka Onuoha, Raphael Ayara, Joe Kosoko, Yinka Quadri, Mojisola Afolayan, Kola Olaiya, Lawal Aramide Pabira, and Darasimi Madi.
