Nigerian-Born Singer Shaboozey’s Song “Tipsy” Becomes the Top-Selling Track in the U.S. in 2024.

Nigerian-American artist Shaboozey has set new records in the United States with his hit track “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”

According to music monitoring service Chart Data, the song has become the most streamed track in the U.S. in 2024.

“Tipsy” surpassed Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” and Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” to become the top-selling song in America this year.

It has also become the longest-running #1 single of 2024 on the Hot 100, holding the top spot for seven weeks, surpassing Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s “I Had Some Help.”

In July, Shaboozey joined Beyoncé as the only Black artist to simultaneously reach the top of both the Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts.
