Popular comedian Ayodeji Richard Makun, widely known as AY, has expressed his frustration with the increasing difficulty of being a Nigerian.

He stated that being Nigerian becomes more challenging with each passing minute.

In a post on his X account on Thursday, AY wrote, “Being Nigerian just keeps getting tougher by the minute.”

Meanwhile, reality TV star Josephine Ijeoma Otabor, widely known as Phyna, has voiced her displeasure over the recent hike in fees for processing and acquiring Nigerian passports.

She criticized the increase, arguing that it was unwarranted since the Nigerian passport is barely respected internationally.

On her X account, she stated: “Raising the price of our passport, which in some countries makes you feel embarrassed just because of it, is what they’ve decided to increase… This country has truly hit rock bottom… Nothing good seems to be coming out of it anymore.”
