Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, widely known as Simi, has shared the reason she fell in love with her husband, fellow singer Adekunle Gold.
Simi, a mother of one, revealed that she was drawn to her husband because of his skills in graphic design and Photoshop.
She made this known while praising Gold for successfully editing a water bottle out of a photo of Nigerian chess master Tunde Onakoya on X, after Onakoya requested the favor on Saturday.
Sharing Gold’s edited version of the chess master’s photo, Simi commented, “This is why I fell for you. I still don’t know why you decided to start singing.”
Report states that before being signed to Olamide’s record label, YBNL Nation, Adekunle Gold was a talented photoshop artist who even designed the label’s logo.
Gold married fellow singer Simi on January 9, 2019, in Lagos. The couple welcomed their first child, Adejare, in 2020.
