Canadian rapper Drake lost a $450,000 bet after Israel Adesanya was defeated by Dricus du Plessis.
Drake had placed the money on Adesanya, also known as the ‘Last Stylebender,’ to reclaim his UFC middleweight title in the main event.
However, things didn’t go as planned, as the Nigerian fighter lost by choke submission.
Drake stood to win $850,000 if Adesanya had won the fight.
The ‘Hotline Bling’ artist is infamous for his losing streak in sports betting.
He has previously placed bets on fighters like Alex Pereira, Nate Diaz, Leon Edwards, and even Francis Ngannou when he faced Anthony Joshua.
