Widely known music executive Paulo Okoye has declared Burna Boy as Nigeria’s richest musician, stating that the artist earned an impressive $80 million in 2023.
Okoye shared this information during an Instagram live session with well-known podcaster Daddy Freeze.
He mentioned that Burna Boy is the only person making money in Nigeria, having earned between $80 to $100 million four years ago, and is currently the richest.
He added that Burna Boy operates on a different level, with a small core team consisting of his mother, sister, and a few others, totaling less than eight people.
The rest are either contractors or consultants.
