A well known Nollywood actor Damola Olatunji recounted how another man impregnated his ex-fiancée a few weeks before their introduction.
In an interview with actress Biola Bayo on the show Talk To B, Olatunji also discussed the controversies surrounding his breakup with Bukola Arugba, the mother of his twins.
Responding to rumors that he left his marriage and abandoned his home, Damola stated that it is better for couples to peacefully separate rather than resort to violence.
My fiancée became pregnant by someone else just weeks before our introduction.
“This is the first time I’m discussing my divorce. Some said I abandoned my marriage and my home, but these are my children. Emotions fade, and love diminishes. If things aren’t working, it’s better to part ways than to let it become physical.
“Couples with children should avoid fighting publicly online because their kids will eventually read what was said.”
“I am not an absentee father. Even after we parted, I continue to meet my kids’ needs. My children would say, ‘My dad is the best in the world.”
Reporter recalls that actress Bukola Awoyemi, also known as Arugba, announced her separation from the actor in 2023.
