Nigerian rapper Falz revealed that he has never professed love to anyone.
In an interview on the Menisms Podcast, Falz said that he has never been in love with anyone.
Discussing his love life, he explained that he has never reached a point in a relationship where such expressions of love are made.
“I have never said ‘I love you’ to anybody. I have never been in love or reached that level of emotional commitment before. And no one has said it to me either. There’s a stage in a relationship where you say, ‘Oh, I love you, baby, I love you too,’ but I’ve never gotten there,” he said.
I’ve just never made that commitment. I’ve always been upfront about my feelings, disposition, and commitment early on, so we’re usually on the same page. This way, no one goes off on their own tangent because we know what’s happening.
“Additionally, I think these conversations need to be revisited regularly. It’s not that I’m not expressive; I’ve just consistently stayed true to my approach and have become accustomed to always guiding the relationship,” he explained.
